The 2008 Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place yesterday at the NOKIA Theatre, L.A.
The miniseries John Adams solidified its position as an Emmy frontrunner, converting eight of its 23 nominations to lead the way at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, winning for casting, costumes, prosthetic makeup, visual effects, sound mixing, editing, cinematography and art.
“With National Geographic’s help, our planet will be a better place for our kids,” Tom Hanks said presenting the Governors Award to National Geographic’s Preserve Our Planet campaign for its efforts to address the concerns facing global warming.
