Congratulations to Billie and Laurence on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Winston James Fox weighing just 6lb 11oz at 1am today! Billie gave birth earlier today by caesarean after being in labour for 26 hours! Mother and baby are both said to be doing well and new dad Laurence told reporters outside the hospital: “I feel fantastic, he is beautiful, he is sweet.” He also added “The emergency caesarean only took about 20 minutes,” he said.
“Billie is happy. Of course she is, she’s a mum. I am tired but not as tired as her – I am a proud father. Asked when Billie would be out of hospital, he said: “Well, she has been cut apart, so probably overnight. I will be with her for the length of it.”
Chris Evans told reporters outside the hospital that mother and baby were “fantastic”. The Radio 2 presenter, who is also expecting a baby with his new wife Natasha Shishmanian, said: “Mum is very happy and I am really pleased. There are some tears of joy up there.”
