Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz are nominated for Gotham Awards. Independent film award ceremony takes place on december 2nd in Manhattan.
The ceremony honors Woody Allen’s film, “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”, which stars Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz, for ‘Ensemble Performance’ and ‘Breakthrough Actor’ (Rebecca Hall from “Vicki Cristina Barcelona” is nominated).
Executive Director of Gotham Awards Michelle Byrd said:
“2008 has proven to be an extremely strong year for an immensely diverse group of filmmakers tackling a range of subjects and forms in new and dynamic ways.”
