Minka Kelly of Friday Night Light’s fame has been cast as the female lead in the CW pilot  ‘Body Politics.’   Minka will play Hope, an all-American girl who leaves her life in Michigan after the death of her mother and heads to D.C., where her long-lost dad, Sen. Webster (Tim Matheson), has just been appointed Attorney General, and takes a job on his staff.

The cast also includes: Jason Dohring (Veronica Mars), Gabrielle Union, Jay Hernandez, and Brian Austin Green.

Minka was also included in a reenactment of ‘West Side Story’  for Vanity Fair with a lot of Hollywood’s A-List.  Camilla Belle, Ashley Tisdale, Jay hernandez, Jennifer Lopez, Rodrigo Santoro, Brittany Snow, Robert Pattison and many more. Minka was on the side of ‘The Sharks.’

Variety reported last weekend on Jessica’s new film that’s in development…

Brittany Snow will star in indie drama “Walks” along with RZA, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Jessica Szohr and Rumer Willis. Eric Amadio will direct from his own script and produce alongside Mike Warner, Jonathan Sachar and Patrick Durham. The co-production of Final Cut Collective and Durham/Sachar Prods. is being financed by Morningstar Films. Production will start in May in Gotham.

Taking place in the world of underground street art, the story centers on a circle of young New Yorkers coming together for the homecoming of a convicted graffiti artist.

Jordan Pruitt blogs for her fans once again this past weekend. She’s home enjoying time with her family, writing and recording in the studio, and excited for prom!

Having Fun….Current mood: creative

Hola!!!Like I said in my last blog, I’m home this week! I’m having so much fun, and I’ve been in the studio writing songs! I’ve written three new songs that I think you will LOVE! I’ve also been catching up with my friends. I finally got my Prom Dress…I can’t wait for Prom. It’s April 4th, and I’m going with a guy named Carter. I have some super exciting news for you guys!
