Jessica & Ed’s co-star, Amanda Setton (Penelope), recently attended an event and talked to People about her fellow co-stars who are now together off-set. Here’s what she had to say.
Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr have already taken PDA-filled vacations in Miami and L.A. They’ve even shared a double date with Westwick’s parents in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood. Now, it seems like they’ve gotten the seal of approval from their Gossip Girl castmates as well.
“It fell into place quite quickly and we’re all super excited for them,” said Amanda Setton, who plays catty Penelope Shafai on the show.
So was she surprised by the on-set hookup? “When two people that you know separately get together, you’re always like ‘Oooh, what’s that about?’ ” Setton told PEOPLE at the H&M Celebrates Matthew Williamson party in New York Tuesday night. “They really balance each other. I’m just happy that they’re happy.”
