They’re usually seen having joint family days out together but yesterday Courteney Cox and Isla Fisher gave themselves the day off.
The friends ditched their children and partners to enjoy a girls-only lunch.
The two actresses met up for a bite to eat at Joan’s on Third in Beverly Hills and were all smiles as they continued their catch up session while heading back to their cars.
Courteney, 44, and Isla, 33, who looked casually chic in jeans and sandals, looked to be enjoying their time off from mothering duties.
Courtney is mother to four-year-old Coco and married to actor David Arquette, while Isla is mother to one-year-old Olive and engaged to Ali G and Borat comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.
The couples have been pals for the years and are often spotted out together.
‘I first met Isla six years ago at David Spade’s birthday party along with Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock,’ said former Friend’s star Courteney when she presented the Calvin Klein Spotlight Award to Isla last year.
‘Sadly, Kid and Pam never called me back, but Isla did. ‘We immediately became fast friends.’
