Wow, the episode was amazing. I saw a side of Damon that really made me love him more. I really loved the backstory, made me understand him a little more

I so agree! This episode was beyond awesomeness.
When Stefan and Elena were at the graveyard and Damon “busted” them and said something like that;
(talking to Stefan) “Because the only one I can trust, is myself!”
(talking to Elena) “But you, you really had me fooled”
THE LOOK IN HIS EYES!
I got totally “Elena, how could you do this to him!”
And before I knew it, tears ran down my cheeks. lol
