MTV’s ‘Truth Below’ books Reid Ewing
‘Modern Family’ actor lands a lead role in telefilm

Reid Ewing has booked a lead role in the new MTV project “The Truth Below.”

The actor is currently in a recurring role on ABC’s “Modern Family” as teen rocker Dylan.

The telefilm, about a group of teens trapped in an avalanche, starts production in Canada this week.

Also, Jill Hennessey has been cast in HBO’s David Milch project “Luck.”

The Paradigm-repped actress (“Crossing Jordan,” “Wild Hogs”) will play a veterinarian in a guest role in the pilot, which stars Dustin Hoffman as a career criminal.
