In 2007 Freema appeared on CBeebies Bedtime Hour program. Numerous celebrities have appeared on the BBC children’s show reading/acting out acclaimed bedtime stories, including Doctor Who co-stars David Tennant, John Barrowman and John Simm. Freema read five stories each about six minutes long. It’s quite nice to see her do all the different voices and act out all the different animals. I will upload each episode here on the site for you to download but I will also upload them on youtube so you can watch them there. I will also be adding screencaptures to the gallery. Freema does a fantastic job and the video is quite cute so be sure to check it out.

Clash of the Titans star Gemma Arterton opens up to InStyle about body image, hitting the red carpet and her wedding next year

British, beautiful and brilliantly talented, we’re very excited about May’s cover star Gemma Arterton. She has two blockbusters Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time and Clash of the Titans out this year (her co-stars include Jake Gyllenhaal and Avatar’s Sam Worthington) and her career is about to go stratospheric.

All this and the Rada-trained actress is very modest too. Dressed casually in a Helmut Lang top and J Brand jeans, she told InStyle: ‘If I’m offered a role, I always think, I’m not hot enough to play this part’.

We beg to differ! As our photographer Julian Broad’s beautiful shoot shows… Gemma looks stunning in nude feminine draping by Vionnet, Valentino and Alberta Ferretti.

And the St Trinian’s star’s no slouch in her work either, winning plaudits from directors such as Mike Newell to Bond himself, Daniel Craig, who told us: ‘She’s doing brilliantly. She won’t stop working’.

Seeing how Torchwood is massively popular it is no wonder that there is an accompanying magazine available. Freema is featured in two issues published in 2008. The March issue Freema talks at length about Martha has evolved since her time with the Doctor. “Martha’s come such a long time in such a short time. She’s still the same character, but now she’s grown up, she’s hardened a bit.” She also talked about what if felt like for her as an actress to come from one show to another. “Personally, though, there isn’t a massive difference in going between the two shows, because, no matter how Martha might change, it’s the same production team, it’s the same studios with a lot of the same crew. John’s there, and even the TARDIS is there. You have to walk past it to get to the Hub!” Describing what it’s like on the Torchwood set Freema says: “There’s always laughter on set, though they get the job done as well. They’re always singing or making up songs together, and even though it is completely made up, they will finish each other’s lines, because they’re all so totally in the same zone.”

Screencaptures of episode 1×18: “Doubt” as well as five clips have been added to the gallery and video archive respectively. It was a nice episode – finally some more Kalinda time. I loved the scene where she goes to open that coach’s locker identifying herself as “Kalinda”. Sadly there won’t be any new episodes of The Good Wife for at least another two weeks.
Archie did a telephone interview with USA Today here’s a little bit of what she had to say:

At the end of a long day on set, Panjabi, who is married to businessman Raj Nihalani, enjoys “simply relaxing with a candle and a book. Simple things are so important because I think in this industry, I’m learning it’s like being part of a bubble — I call it The Good Wife bubble, where everything is about the job” — shooting scenes, doing interviews, learning lines.

As for the show’s upcoming hiatus, “if the appropriate project doesn’t come along, I’m not afraid to take that break,” she says

Does she keep in touch with Jolie? “I do,” she says. Because of her friend, Panjabi participated in a recent reading with Meryl Streep in New York of the documentary play Seven,about women’s struggles for justice and freedom.

“One of the characters I was reading was a woman whom (Jolie) had mentioned to me,” Panjabi says. “She’s been a huge inspiration to me in terms of the work that she does. And just the way she is with people. She’s incredibly grounded, very down to earth. And it’s a good influence on me now that I’m starting to gain recognition.”

Jessica Lowndes Online – Hope everyone enjoyed last nights episode of 90210 2.17 “Sweaty Palms and Weak Knees”. Jessica was so great in this episode, her singing was amazing and she looked beautiful, I really liked this episode, can’t wait to see (and hear more).
