Tamara Drewe is the contemporary tale of a Londoner returning home to the country – and to her past. Tamara, once a shy, ugly teenager, has reinvented herself as a smouldering femme fatale. When she returns to her old village to sell her late mother’s house, she is barely recognisable to the locals – or to her old flame Andy – and she kick-starts a trail of envy, lust, scandal and gossip wherever she goes. But has she really forgotten who she is – and who she loved?

Tamara is the ultimate modern girl; but for all her independence, ambition and sex appeal it’s actually the vulnerable, shy fish-out-of-water underneath that make her story funny, moving and very human.

Tamara Drewe premieres in French cinemas on July 14, 2010. The UK will have to wait until September 10, 2010.

HBO has renewed True Blood for a 12-episode fourth season.

Created by Alan Ball, the series will begin production of new episodes early next year in Los Angeles, with debut set for summer 2011.

“The new season of True Blood is off to a terrific start, as enthusiasm for this unique show continues to build among both subscribers and critics,” noted Lombardo. “We’re looking forward to more chills from Alan Ball and his gifted team next year.”

In case you’re out of the loop, the series takes place in the not-too-distant future, when vampires have come out of the coffin, thanks to the invention of mass-produced synthetic blood that means they no longer need humans as a nutritional source. The show follows the romance between waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, and her boyfriend, 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), who went missing at the end of season two, and is now the object of a frantic search. Alan Ball (Six Feet Under) created and executive produces the show, which is based on the best-selling Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris.

I’ve finally completely the newest addition to our site – our Lyme Disease Awareness mini-site! I think it’s important that we inform everyone that visits CAW of Lyme. I found out about it through Candice’s twitter updates, but now I’m completely invested in trying to spread awareness. Hopefully by having this small awareness site on our network, we’ll be able to reach out to even more people. If you haven’t already done so, please make sure to educate yourself about Lyme Disease! Hey everyone, my name is Mikaela and I used to run this site, I am now back and will be co-owner together with the amazing Rachel that have been running the site great! As my first update back, I decided that we needed a brand new gallery layout. Ready for a north of the border awards show evening Ashley Greene turned up at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada.

Held at MuchMusic World Headquarters, the Alice Cullen cutie was all smiles as she greeted fans and posed for pictures while joined by her “Eclipse” co-stars Kellan Lutz and Xavier Samuel.

So far I’ve added 20+ photos, but I’m hoping for more!
