She shot to fame starring as Amy Pond in Doctor Who, but now Karen Gillan has revealed she is unsure about her future on the sci-fi show.

The 22-year-old actress made the revelation at a signing in Glasgow’s Hamley toy store, when she wrote her name on boxes containing a five-inch version of her character along with posters for more than 200 fans.
Gillan, who looked stunning in a leopard print dress and black opaque tights, said she was ‘excited’ about filming the second series with current Time Lord Matt Smith.

However, when asked if she would star in a third series of the show, Gillan replied: ‘Who knows? I’m just taking it series by series and I’m just having fun. So, I don’t know. I have no idea.’

The star also remained tight-lipped about the Christmas special and second series, which she is about to start filming. She said:

We are about to start in a week and a bit on the series, which is exciting. We’ve finished the Christmas special so that’s all in the can and it’s a good one.

Emma was seen leaving Bungalow 8 in London on August 25th. She looks so stunning, and the more new photos we see with Emma’s pixie hair cut the more we love it. I’m still currently adding all the missing updates to our gallery since I was on vacation and had no time to update this site. Please stay tuned and come back soon.

It seems that Midnight in Paris has wrapped!  Rachel was spotted out having a great time at the ‘Midnight in Paris’ wrap party on August 20th. It must be bittersweet for the cast and crew of the film.  But the party looked great:  there were drinks, motorcyles, hugs, dancing and even a random bunny!

Brand new promotion outtakes for the new People Tree Autumn/Winter 2010 Campaign has been released. You can watch them in our gallery, Emma looks lovely. The full collection will be released at at The Prince of Wales’ eco festival, A Garden Party To Make A Difference it will take place on September 12 at 3.30pm and will be held in the historic Friary Court of St James’ Palace.

Emma visited with People Tree Bangladesh. You can watch the video of her visit below. We added some photos of her during her visit. The video also included behind the scenes footage of the Autumn/Winter campaign.

Following my summer collection for People Tree, I wanted to visit Bangladesh with Safia to see the difference Fair Trade makes.

The contrast between the slums in Dhaka (the capital of Bangladesh) where the people who work in the garment factories live and Swallows (the Fair Trade community supported by People Tree) was all too apparent.

You can read a short interview of my thoughts on the trip below, but I still find it hard to convey what Fair Trade means to those producing our fashion – it’s just so impressive to see how the women have used Fair Trade clothing to escape poverty and empower themselves and their children. I was very moved and inspired.

Although I wasn’t centrally involved in the design of this collection, I had great fun in helping Safia select some gorgeous Fair Trade textiles – a dogtooth hand woven check, cable knits, soft organic jerseys and the first Fair Trade hand woven brushed checked fabric which has been made into easy tulip skirts, dresses and shirts.

There are even a few party dresses, such as the little black satin tulip dress which can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion! I have picked out some of my favourite pieces which I have modelled for People Tree.

I want to congratulate People Tree on this new range and really hope people continue to buy these clothes and to support their great work in the promotion of Fair Trade.

Here is a first look clip featuring Keanu Reeves and James Caan from Malcolm Venville’s “Henry’s Crime,” based on a script by “Anvil! The Story Of Anvil!” helmer Sacha Gervasi.

The film also co-stars Vera Farmiga and follows the story of an aimless road-toll attendant who decides to rob a bank for real after wrongfully serving three years for the crime.

“Henry’s Crime” premieres at TIFF where it will hopefully find a distributor and see a release likely sometime in 2011.
