Samuel Goldwyn Films closed U.S. rights to The Whistleblower, the Rachel Weisz-starrer that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Larysa Kondracki directed the drama, which also stars Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci and David Strathairn. Weisz plays a cop who takes a peacekeeper job in post-war Bosnia and uncovers a sex trafficking scandal. Pic will be released in August. UTA Independent Film Group’s Rena Ronson brokered the deal. Here is a scene from the film that Deadline previewed at Toronto:

LCD Soundsystem‘s – “Pow Pow” Music Video starring Anna has been released! Watch it at Versatile!

‘Pow Wow’ On Set Pictures:

The new video from LCD Soundsystem featuring their song “Pow Pow” packs a visual punch — partly because of the sultry set and production design, but mostly because of a mysterious story line starring protagonist Anna Kendrick.

The clip, which premiered on MTV.com Thursday (November 4), opens with the words “at midnight, she came to collect the souls of men.” Cut to the camera panning an elegantly organized array of accessories — earrings, bracelets, a bottle of eye drops, credit cards, contact-lens cases, makeup and so forth. . .

Some of you are probably aware that Archie (along with Christopher Eccelstone) was part of a short film entitled “The Happiness Salesman”. For a long time little information was available and there was no way of seeing the film. Well, all of that is in the past now. BBC Wales showed the short film as part of their Halloween programming on 31 October. If you are in the UK you can watch The Happiness Salesman on the BBC iplayer.

It’s a nice little film although having seen it now, I can understand why it was shown on Halloween. Archie is fantastic in it. Here is how the BBC describes it:

Karen is resigned to a life of surburban ennui, the dreams of her youth a distant memory. On an autumn afternoon as she struggles to get her baby to sleep she is disturbed by a door-to-door salesman. Desperate for adult companionship she engages with the enigmatic salesman. He claims he can sell her something that will radically change her life, and offers Karen an opportunity to fulfil long forgotten dreams and ambitions. But is Karen prepared to pay the price?

Thanks to the wonderfully talented and sweet Claudia at NemoDesign, we have now a new layout and we’re using WordPress for the main page. However working with WordPress on the other sections of the site would have proved to be too complicated so for now we’re only using it for the main page.

We have a new gallery layout too and it is AMAZING!! We’re still doing some work on it but it’s gonna be fixed asap!
