As the premiere date of Marchlands approaches new images are being released by ITV. Stills for episodes two and three have been added to the gallery. Also, WalesOnline recently published an interview with Shelley on their website. Here is an excerpt:

And, while it was a challenge, she enjoyed playing a pregnant woman. “I started to get used to my bump – it was very much a part of my character,” she says, smiling.

“At the time I had two pregnant sisters, one at the later stages of pregnancy, like Nisha, and the other sister was at the very early stages of pregnancy – we weren’t really supposed to know she was pregnant.

“My elder sister who’d already had a child said, ’I really don’t like the way pregnancy’s often portrayed on TV, so I really hope you get this right’, so it was like, ’Oooh, pressure’, but it was really helpful because I had these two great points of research.”

The gallery has been updated with images from three events that Andrea attended recently in Los Angeles and London. It looks like Madonna’s W.E. will probably been screened during the Berlin Film Festival in February. Since Andrea is also set to be honored with an award there it is likely that she will attend. The film will apparently have its official premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

In light of Brighton Rock opening in British cinemas soon, the Independent has published an article about Andrea on their website entitled Let’s hear it for Miss Versatility. Andrea talks about how she balances her work and private life:

She usually takes this time out with her boyfriend, Joe Appel. “He’s an artist, so in a sense his life is moveable as he can work from where we are.”

She is quick to point out, though, that she doesn’t try to let her job dictate their relationship, and that he doesn’t necessarily have to follow her around whenever directors request her presence. “No, it’s a bit of both. I mean we just work it out. We’re completely different people and we are devoted to each other. At the same time, we are devoted to our work. So we’ve never said that we wouldn’t do something, because we were scared that the other person wouldn’t like it, be that a geographical thing or an emotional thing. He is very supportive and he is very creative and imaginative and a completely left-field thinker – so nothing shocks him. He’s a very odd man.”
