Joe will be playing John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises and his Inception costar, Marion Cotillard has been officially confirmed for the movie as well who will be playing Miranda Tate.

Warner Bros confirmed today that Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have joined the cast of The Dark Knight Rises, which is being billed as the “conclusion of the Dark Knight legend,” meaning the end of Christopher Nolan’s run on the Batman movies.
The two have been in various stages of negotiations for months, with much speculation on who the two are playing.

The studio said Cotillard will play as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father’s philanthropic endeavors for Gotham.

Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon.

Both worked with Nolan on Inception.

“When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again,” Nolan said in a statement.

The Dark Knight Rises is slated for release on July 20, 2012.

Looks like the filming for “The Ides of March” is wrapped up because Ryan was seen Out & About in Toronto yesterday (April 18) and picking out some clothes in a vintage store. We added the first batch in our gallery. Next up is Film Festival Cannes 2011 with the premiere of “Drive“, the release of “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” and the filming for “Logan’s Run” begins in the fall.

Its great to see the show back and there’s another episode airing on the show’s regular time slot this Wednesday at 9:30pm! Welcome to the re-launch of Amanda Schull Fan. You may remember I ran the site for a short time a while ago but had to give it up due to time issues. I now have some  more time and as Amanda is one of my favorites I wanted to re-open a fansite as a tribute to her.

The gallery currently holds over 230 photos of her – all I could find online that aren’t screencaps. I’ll be working on screencapping her projects and adding them to the site as soon as possible but I wanted to get this site online in the meantime.

Ryan’s upcoming project “Drive” with Carey Mulligan and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn is selected for Film Festival Cannes 2011 and it will enter the official competition according to the official press kit of Cannes 2011.

We added the first official still in our gallery and a preview still that was released during ComicCon 2011. The release is currently set for September 16, 2011 after the Cannes premiere. Ryan is expected to attend the premiere in Cannes.

“Drive” is the story of a Hollywood stunt driver by day (Ryan Gosling), a loner by nature, who moonlights as a top-notch getaway driver-for-hire in the criminal underworld. He finds himself a target for some of LA’s most dangerous men after agreeing to aid the husband of his beautiful neighbor, Irene (Carey Mulligan). When the job goes dangerously awry, the only way he can keep Irene and her son alive is to do what he does best–Drive!
