Feb. 1 was the live telecast of the 44th Annual NAACP Image Awards and Kerry attended the star studded event alongside her parents. Kerry was nominated for her roles on the small and big screen in, Scandal (as Washington, D.C. fixer Olivia Pope) & Django Unchained (as Broomhilda, a slave and wife of titular character Django) and she won both of them. Kerry’s off-screen humanitarian efforts were also recognized as she was presented with the President’s Award. Kerry gave some amazing speeches that night and I’ll have videos for you soon.
