The “Valentine’s Day” beauty and her “Glee” guy attempted to sneak past the paparazzi as they departed the John Varvatos soiree and hopped into an awaiting taxi cab.

Spending a final day in the Big Apple before heading up north to the 2011 Toronto Film Festival, Ashley Greene was spotted making her way around the streets of New York City on Saturday afternoon.

The Alice Cullen actress looked cute in a black and white patterned mini dress, black flats and Wayfarer shades as she busily messaged on her iPhone during the NYC outing.

Always looking fabulous, Miss Greene spoke with ELLE during Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday about topics regarding how she keeps up her seemingly flawless looks.

As for her blemish-free skin, Ashley told: I know people are tired of hearing this, but I think the best thing to do is to drink tons of water, use moisturizer, and wear sunscreen. If you just take care of your skin, it’s a good base for makeup. That’s what I do because when my skin is completely clear it makes me feel more confident and gives me a glow that makeup can’t really emulate.

Asked her secret to maintaining healthy hair under straining movie set work conditions: Well, I was really lucky with the Twilight movies because my hair was under a wig the whole time! I put conditioner in my hair before they applied it. My strands soaked up a lot of nourishment during all those hours of shooting!

Taking in a little sporting action, Ashley Greene turned up at the 2011 US Open in Flushing, New York on Friday.

The “Twilight” starlet took a prime box seat at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center while watching the on court action from day twelve of the annual tournament.

Tweeting about her NYC doings, Miss Greene wrote,

“Wonderful FNO last night with @tedgibson and @markgirl – thx to all who came out to support! Now enjoying some tennis at the US Open!”

The “Art of Getting By” actress kept it simple in all-black garb, pairing her ruby red lipstick with a long-sleeve dress, sparkling clutch and platform leather sandals while she posed for nearby photogs.

As for her plans for the future, Emma has revealed an exciting new chapter in her life, telling press that she’s ready to head back to school!

“I’m leaving for New York tomorrow to attend my very first semester of college” the 20-year-old dished, adding, “I’m studying English literature and couldn’t be more excited!”
