I am the proud new owner at Amanda Essence! I have a lot of updates planned for the site, so please check it out.

Amanda is in the December issue of “Self” magazine.  I have added the fantastic photoshoot she did to the gallery, along with some quotes from the magazine. If anyone can get scans and donate them, please do and I’ll be sure to credit you!

Date nights: “I’m obsessed with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. If she knew how much she was in my household late at night or in the wee hours of the morning, she might be disturbed. David [my husband] and I both have a crush on her.”

No diets for her: “To me, staying healthy means doing everything in moderation. Eat a lot of greens, but in moderation. Exercise, but in moderation. Drink wine, but in moderation. Sleep as much as you can. And have people around you who are very funny.”

Bad reviews: “When you’re gotten horrible reviews-and in the early days, I got some that were probably deserved-it’s almost liberating, because you’re like, ‘I’m still breathing. I’m still married to my husband. I’m going to go back onstage tonight, and I have no choice in the matter.”

We are back to doing the birthday project again this year at Calista Online! This year, we’re doing something different. We have an online birthday card for you to sign. Then I’ll print it out on high quality paper and send it to Calista. You have just about a month for the messages to be posted….they need to be done by the 1st or 2nd of November, so I get time to print it and send it out, ready for her birthday on the 11th!

Now for the few rules!

1. Please make your message “mature” – for example, try not to send a million messages like “I love you!” “I want to marry you” etc!
2. You may include your name and country, but please do not include any personal information (for example, phone numbers and addresses)
3. Try not too write too much about Calista’s personal life and son etc. A short mention is fine.

So…what are you waiting for? Leave Calista a birthday message now!
