Possibly the most hotly anticipated footage from a number of critics was the three minutes of exclusive footage from Nicholas Winding Refn’s Drive follow-up, Only God Forgives, and it appeared to go down reasonably well. For me though, the footage was a little disappointing, coming across more like a violent commercial for a high end spirit than an interesting and intriguing scene from a film. Refn’s style is writ large here and whilst this is rather engaging all on its own, as is Gosling’s brooding intensity, there was little of substance in the footage to grasp onto.

HelloGiggles celebrated it’s first birthday last week and they hosted a (private) party. We added some photos of Zooey during that party. And happy belated birthday to HelloGiggles, it’s one of our daily visits so we hope many more years will follow.

It was announced a few weeks ago that Ty and his “Modern Family” co-star Julie Bowen were this year host for the Billboard Awards. Julie and Danny Zuker (writer and producer of “Modern Family“) shared a few photos of Ty on set of, we assume, segments for the Billboard awards.

The show will be held May 20, so this sunday, and it will air the same day ABC at 8 p.m. ET. Be sure to come back sunday/monday for our coverage of the event, we expect lots of new pictures!

The official facebook account for “Passion” released some new film goodies and news for us. The first poster was released for the movie, it’s a poster for the Cannes Film Festival market because the movie will look for (international) distributors. They will show a teaser at Cannes to promote the film.

The facebook account also released a few more production stills: two on set pictures and two new film stills with Rachel. They also released two more stills without her, so be sure to head over to the official facebook page and don’t forget to ‘Like’ it! Thanks to BrianDePalma.org for the find!

We heard they are aiming for a Berlinale Film Festival release in 2013, but we are hoping they will release the movie in the US late 2012.

Carice and her sister Jelka did interviews with various dutch magazines to promote their film “Jackie“. We added the scans of their interview in the dutch Viva in our gallery. Rachel was spotted in the audience of the St. Louis Blues v Los Angeles Kings hockey game last saturday (May 6). She is a hockey fan, last time she was spotted during a game she even appeared on the Jumbotron!

We added a photo of Rachel in the audience and outside the centre before heading in. She was at the game with her friend Megan and her stylists Rob and Mariel, who created some of Rachel’s best red carpet looks including at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Indie Wire released the very first production still of Rachel’s upcoming movie “Passion” which is directed by Brian De Palma and Noomi Rapace, Karoline Herfurth and Dominic Cooper star alongside Rachel. They also report that the movie will get repped at the Cannes marketplace, so let’s hope we will get a release date soon!

Rachel will portray Christine, we are excited for this movie especially since it seems like something Rachel didn’t do before! A preview of the still can be found below, and head over to our main site for the official plot!
