To increase our excitement about the premiere of Pushing Daisies new season next October 01, I Heart Anna has 3 new promotional pictures of PD season one, also 8 promotional of first season two episode, “Bzzzzzzzzz!”.
Finally an event with Mark this year. We surely miss him. Mark Ruffalo is in Toronto, since “Blindness” and “The Brothers Bloom” are set to be show in the festival. Yesterday was “Blindness” premiere, and Mark, Gael, Julianne and Dennis was attending it. Also two days ago Mark was with Sunrise attending the after party of “Burn After Reading” with fellow pal “Adrien Brody”.

Peep the new season 2 promos for the fanciful ABC drama Pushing Daisies — Lee Pace as Ned, Anna Friel as Chuck, Chi McBride as Emerson, Ellen Greene as Vivian, Swoosie Kurtz as Lily and Kristin Chenoweth as Olive. Obviously, the main pic is an homage to the Sistine Chapel, where God’s right arm is outstretched to impart life from his own finger into that of Adam, whose left arm is extended in a pose mirroring God’s.
Pushing Daisies picked up an incredible 12 Emmy nominations. In the major acting categories, both Lee and Kristin were nominated. The Emmy Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2008.

The trailer for writer/director Rian Johnson’s The Brothers Bloom is now online. Opening October 24th, the film stars Adrien Brody, Rachel Weisz, Mark Ruffalo, Rinko Kikuchi and Robbie Coltrane.

You may know Alice from I Am Legend, she’s Anna, the girl that didn’t knew who Bob Marley is. lol
But she’s also starred Redbelt besides my beloved Rodrigo Santoro, and also are in the upcoming (and promising one) Blindness. I’ve been following her career since she starred in the acclaimed City of God, and she’s very good, thanks! Here in Brazil, it’s really difficult that an actor start his career and being recognize for the public without make television, and she never did it! Actually, she did a small role in a tv special, but nothing that people can remember. And today, that’s she doing movies with Will Smith, Harrison Ford, Mark Ruffalo. Great, great!
I was tempted to open this fansite since I saw there was no single one site dedicated to her. She really deserves an online tribute fansite, so here is it.
