Gemma Arterton is featured in the August issue of Vogue UK magazine (I mentioned it briefly here yesterday).

In the small article, Gemma tells that she has a piano app on her iPad at the moment because she needs to perform Tchaikovsky for her next role (in A Song for Marion), says she’s addicted to pineapple and Rumpelstiltskin is her favourite fairy tale. Gemma Arterton attended the G-Star Fashion Show at Bread & Butter Fashion Trade Fair at Flughafen Tempelhof airport, on July 6, in Berlin, Germany.

It has become a habit for G-Star to reveal its new models at Bread & Butter.

At its large stand at the trade show, the Dutch denim giant showed the first photos of its next collection being modelled by Vincent Gallo.

Gemma Arterton returned as the female face of G-Star, posing for their Autumn/Winter 2011 ad campaign.

Anton Corbijn remains the photographer in charge.

Having just recently finished filming Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Gemma portrays the tough denim look with a touch of soft and feminine flair quite well!

In the campaign, Gemma wears the 3301 5-pocket denim jean by G-Star RAW, in which she explains:

“The 3301 denims are definitely one of the style must-haves because they are so practical and you can make them work with any outfit – day or evening.”

She looks hot either way. We’re a fan of this biker chic look. Are you?

THERE isn’t much that escapes a road trip.

How someone sleeps. (Fallen forward, face mashed into the back of the seat in front with a hint of a dribble.)

Their childhood nickname. (“Tarts”)

Their weird food fetishes. (Marmite with marmalade sandwiches. Euw!)

Any moments of slightly dodgy personal cleanliness. (“I’m winning the skanky b*tch competition.”)

And even those embarrassing childhood experiences. (Her friends once connected all the freckles on her face together with blue Biro when she was asleep aged 12.)

Bond girl Gemma Arterton caused a stir when she opened the Harrods summer sale today wearing a glitzy dress and a beaming smile.

The Quantum of Solace actress was greeted on the red carpet outside the famous west London store by its former chairman Mohamed Al Fayed.

Scores of excited shoppers keen to bag a bargain also massed there, waiting for the doors to open at 9am on Saturday.

Launching the spending frenzy from inside the shop, Arterton said: “Harrods has always been one of my favourite London stores so I’m thrilled that they invited me along to open the best sale in the world.

“So ladies and gentlemen, all I can say now is get ready, get steady, shop.”

The hordes of customers then flooded in, heading straight for the heavily discounted designer goods.

But Arterton, sporting a sequinned black Balmain dress and boots, said she had her eye on the home ware this year.

“I’ve just finished doing up my house so I might go and have a look around the home section, which makes me sound really grown up,” she giggled.

“Usually it would be shoes but yeah, it’s linens and things like that.”

Outside the building, classical music blared loudly from speakers, all but drowning out the sound of the anti-fur campaigners who had mounted a protest on the doorstep.
