The release date for Rachael Taylor‘s upcoming Australian comedy “Any Questions for Ben?” has been pushed back two weeks to February 09, 2012. But there’s already something to look forward to: a brandnew poster for the film as well as a short teaser trailer have been uploaded. You can watch the teaser by clicking on the picture below.
From what has been revealed so far, we know that the film is about three twenty-something men “living it up in Melbourne’s restaurants, bars and clubs” and Rachael is playing Alex, a human rights lawyer who returns to the city and becomes involved with them.

Just one more month now until the release of Rachael’s alien invasion movie “The Darkest Hour”. Lots of new movie stills have just been released and Rachael is featured in quite a lot of them, so I have added over twenty of them to our gallery, along with a poster and a photo of Rachael and her costar Olivia Thirlby on set in Moscow. The film looks really exciting, and for all those of you who don’t know, here it is again in a nutshell:five young people in Moscow battle an alien race that has attacked the Earth through our power supply.

Rachael Taylor attended the 2011 GQ Men of the Year awards in Sydney on Tuesday and walked away with the very first Australian GQ Woman of the Year award ever. To celebrate this Rachael is featured on the cover of the new GQ ‘award winning special issue’; in stores now. “Red Dog” is continuing its success in Australia. Not only is the family film already in the top ten highest grossing Australian films of all time and is expected to pass the $20 million mark at the box office this week, “Red Dog” is also leading this year’s IF Awards with a total of seven nominations.
The film itself is nominated and so are Rachael Taylor and Josh Lucas for best actress/actor among others. You can see the full list of nominees here. All the nominees were chosen by the public- the readers of IF Magazine. The ceremony for the 2011 Jameson IF Awards will be held at Sydney Luna Park on November 16.

Rachael played Maryann Marinkovich, a childhood friend of Natalie Wood in this TV movie about the life of legendary Hollywood actress Natalie Wood.

The ratings for this week haven’t come in yet but I will definitely keep an eye out for them. Hopefully the show didn’t drop too much in the ratings again. I’m not sure, if the show will survive in the long run but for now you have next week to look forward to:

 Thanks to the awesome Minka Kelly Web we now have a scan of Rachael Taylor in this month’s issue of InStyle magazine.
Rachael and her Charlie’s Angels costars Minka Kelly and Annie Ilonzeh are featured in the magazine showing off some of the new fall makeup shades. But they also talked to InStyle about their most extreme beauty moments.
Rachael said the biggest challenge in assuming the role of jewelry thief Abby Sampson wasn’t any of the physical stuff but rather having to chop of her beautiful long hair for the role:
“I was clinging to my long hair for dear life! But I’m happy I took the plunge. I feel like a grown woman now- not a girl.”
“I was stupid enough to get my ex-boyfriend’s name tattooed on me. Now everytime I look at it, I’m like, Damn!”

I really enjoyed last night’s episode of “Charlie’s Angels” (much more than the pilot, I have to say). “Runway Angels” had actually been filmed to be the third episode but ABC decided to show it as the second episode instead. Next week we have “Bon Voyage, Angels” to look forward to as the angels go undercover on a cruise ship to rescue a missing journalist. You can find a promo for the episode here.

As you can see, RachaelTaylorFan.Com has a new layout again. I was really tired of the old one and wanted something that was more up to date, so when those gorgeous outtakes from the Charlie’s Angels promo shoot came along I just had to try and make something out of them. A couple of gorgeous outtakes from Rachael Taylor’s “Charlie’s Angels” promo shoot have been added to the gallery. Even though many of the show’s reviews so far have been less than kind, “Charlie’s Angels” managed to attract about 8.6 million viewers last Thursday and got ABC the highest ratings in this timeslot since 2009; coming in third after X-Factor and Big Bang Theory. Also, more good news: “Red Dog” is now the 10th most popular Australian film ever!

Plenty of HD screen captures of last night’s premiere episode “Angel With a Broken Wing” have been added to the gallery. Although most of the reviews I’ve seen range from terrible to just plain mean spirited, I have to say that I quite enjoyed the show and I can’t wait to see what they do next week:
“Runway Angels” — The Angels go undercover in the fashion world after a young model’s disappearance, and Kate’s ex-fiance, Detective Ray Goodson (Isaiah Mustafa), is involved with the case.

Thanks to some lovely people on the Internet I was able to upload scans of the TV Guide cover and corresponding article featuring the Charlie’s Angels cast to the gallery. With the show finally premiering on ABC this week, I am sure we can expect much more publicity stuff like this in the next couple of days, weeks and months. I have seen that Minka Kelly is already scheduled to appear on several talkshows but unfortunately I have seen no such listings for Rachael Taylor. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

 The cast of “Charlie’s Angels” is featured on the cover of the newest issue of TV Guide hitting newsstands on the day of the show’s premiere, Thursday September 22. Not long to go now. But for now you can take a look at the cover photo, which the awesome Minka Kelly tweeted here. Bits and pieces from the interview are already on their website here. It’s a really interesting read! For example, did you know that Rachael Taylor and Minka briefly met while doing a photoshoot in Venice about four years ago?
TV Guide Magazine: And now that you’ve been shooting for a bit, have you found your Angels groove?
Ilonzeh: We came together and there was definitely instant chemistry.
Taylor: Many years ago, Minka and I did a photo shoot in Venice for a very trendy [magazine] and we met very briefly.
Kelly: Oh, that’s right!
Taylor: It was like, four years ago. [Laughs] It was awful.
Rodriguez: I’ll tell you when I knew there was chemistry. At the table read [for the pilot]….
Kelly: Oh! Can we talk about the table read? This gentleman brought all the ladies a rose.
Rodriguez: It was Valentine’s Day. The chemistry was immediate. And you know, that doesn’t happen all the time. At the table read sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

 People magazine has learned that the new Charlie’s Angels will remake one of the original show’s most iconic scenes -the angels jailed in a women’s prison- in an episode titled “Angels in Chains”. But until we get to see that episode on our TV screens you can have a look at the still on the left or check out this cute behind the scenes picture Minka Kelly posted on her twitter account recently.
But despite all the attention Rachael Taylor and the show have been getting (they will even be presenting an award at the Emmys tonight), it seems like Rachael still has her feet firmly planted on the ground. She recently told an interviewer:
“Everyone tells me to save my money because I will be out of work at a certain point, that’s just what happens to actors.”
“I think you can retain a sense of normality in whatever you do. I’ve watched my profile rise and fall over six or seven years and sometimes it peaks and sometimes it really dives. In the end you go to Coles and someone in the supermarket says to you: ‘Hey, are you so and so’ and you go: ‘Yeah’ and they go: ‘Cool, can you pass me that cheese’. They just want to know who you are, and put a face to a name.”
Apart from her own realism, another thing that’s keeping her down to earth is Rachael’s relationship with her boyfriend, actor Josh Lawson, who says:
“She’s very original. She makes me write poetry. Well, she doesn’t make me, but she inspires me. She makes me feel things I’ve never felt before … all that corny stuff. I really am in love … we’re really happy and comfortable.”

But I have more great news. According to this article from the Daily Telegraph, Rachael, Minka, Annie and Drew Barrymore will be presenting an award at the Emmys next weekend!
