Rachel is featured in germans “Life & Style” issue July/ August 2008. The article is called “Lady in Red” and it shows the latest pictures of her during a Vogue photoshooting in New York. They say that it seems like she was doing a photoshooting for the fall issue of Vogue so we can expect some new photos of her later this year. The article also says that there are still rumors she will start filming “Sin City 2″ soon. Stay tuned and get updated on her upcoming projects of course! As I posted a few days ago, Rachel is the new face of the brazilian ads of “Lux” shampoo and soap. A surprise happened and Mariana saw the clip and made a video of it for our site. Thank you so much! The Peter Jackson juggernaut has rolled into Queenstown, with about 100 crew in the South Island resort to film the Wellington director’s latest Hollywood blockbuster, The Lovely Bones. Production spokesman Matthew Dravitzki, of WingNut Films, confirmed the crew had a week-long shoot of visual-effects elements around the region.

The Lovely Bones, which is based on an Alice Sebold novel, stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon. The production company was tight-lipped about which, if any, of the stars were in Queenstown. Dravitzki said because much of Jackson’s Oscar-winning The Lord of the Rings trilogy was shot around Queenstown, it was hard not to think about locations for The Hobbit, to be produced by Jackson.

Focus Features International announced at the Cannes Film Festival that it has acquired sales and distribution rights to Agora, a historical epic. The movie is the latest from The Sea Inside filmmaker Alejandro Amenabar. It stars British actress Rachel Weisz, who won an Oscar for her work in Focus’ The Constant Gardener. In the new film, she will play the real-life Hypatia of Alexandria, who was the Western world’s first female astronomer and philosopher, the studio said.

Agora will also star Max Minghella, Oscar Isaac, Ashraf Barhom, Michael Lonsdale, Rupert Evans and Homayoun Ershadi. Focus said it will have rights to Agora worldwide except for Spain and North America.

The article is about Rachel Weisz new movie “The Lovely Bones”, directed by Peter Jackson. The release date has changed to fall 2009. Read the news below for more information.

On Thursday, New Zealand site Flicks.co.nz reported a rumor that director Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones had ceased production “due to a rift between the big man and his art director over the best way to depict Heaven. Given that a large portion of film takes place in that very location, with main character Susie Salmon looking down on her family after her murder, this seems a crucial point of difference.” The site has since updated the story to make it seem like this happened a while back.

On top of that, DreamWorks/Paramount told us on Friday that the drama will hit theaters in the fall of 2009 and not on March 13, 2009 as it was reported by sites last year. We asked the studio if this had anything to with the supposed “rift” between Jackson and his art director, but that’s not the case at all.
