Amanda attends at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival , she is promoting her new movie “”What Doesn’t Kill You” (A.K.A. Real Men Cry). We have some pretty pictures from press conference and Portraits.

Lauren newest movie, Flash of Genius, premiered yesterday at Toronto International Film Festival. And she was at the festival. She attend at the premiere and the press conference. To finish there is also some beautiful pictures from the Portraits. I can’t wait to see that movie.

The Woodstock Film Festival celebrates its ninth year with another outstanding collection of nearly 150 “fiercely independent” films, panels, concerts and special events, Wednesday October 1 through Sunday October 5. The exceptionally diverse program takes place in the arts colony of Woodstock and the neighboring towns of Rhinebeck and Rosendale.

-FLASH OF GENIUS, directed by Marc Abraham and starring Greg Kinnear and Lauren Graham, tells the true ‘David & Goliath’ story of the inventor of the intermittent windshield wiper Robert Kearns, who battled two major auto companies demanding justice -and credit- for his invention. (Rosendale)

Alexis has begun filming her latest movie, a romantic comedy entitled The Good Guy, in New York City and 30 pictures are in the gallery, more to come.

Also on Monday Alexis and her TSOTTP 2 co-stars arrived at the MTV studios for an appearance on TRL in Times Square, New York City, and 24 pictures have been added to the gallery.

Amanda Peet has landed the female lead in Roland Emmerich’s epic disaster project “2012.”

Peet is joining a strong ensemble cast led by John Cusack that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, Danny Glover and Oliver Platt.

“2012″ revolves around a global cataclysm and the heroic struggle of the survivors. Peet is playing Cusack’s ex-wife, newly married to a wealthy man. Cusack plays a divorced father trying to become a writer while holding a job as a limo driver.

Emmerich wrote the script with Harald Kloser, who is producing with Mark Gordon and Larry Franco. Emmerich also is executive producing with Michael Wimer and Ute Emmerich.

Columbia’s Matt Tolmach and Rachel O’Connor are overseeing for the studio.

Barring an actors strike, the movie will shoot in July. The release date for “2012″ is July 10, 2009.

Peet, repped by Gersh and Management 360, is shooting Nicole Holofcener’s untitled comedy and will appear in the upcoming “The X-Files” movie.
