Celebrities across the entertainment industry including Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz and Ashlee Simpson give their pledge to President-Elect Barack Obama. They want to know, what’s your pledge?
In honor of the upcoming inauguration, MySpace and Kutcher’s company Katalyst Media created The Presidential Pledge. Directed by Moore, celebrities recorded a pledge of service about their plans to take action and lead to bring about a nationwide change.
“I pledge to be a great mother,” new mom Simpson said.
“I pledge to plant 500 trees this year to help our planet,” Eva Longoria Parker said in her vow.
Other celebs featured in the video include: Courtney Cox, Kevin Connolly, Sean P. “Diddy” Combs, Dakota Fanning, Jason Bateman and many more.
The purpose of the videos is to encourage others to make their own commitment and upload their Presidential Pledge to MySpace.
