HBO’s True Blood had a fantastic 2009. The series got several awards, and got nominations for the next year’s best awards AGAIN, as Golden Globe “Best Television Series – Drama” and SAG “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series”. On this EW week issue, True Blood was chosen #2 Entertainment of the Year and #1 Best Series of the Year.

The cast of HBO’s True Blood came in at No. 2 on EW’s list of 2009’s Entertainers of the Year. At his photo shoot for our Best & Worst Issue, on-stands now, we caught up with Alexander Skarsgard to chat about the show’s success in season 2 and the most popular question he gets from fans: “When are you gonna hook up with Sookie?” (The short answer: He’s not sure if it’ll happen in season 3 this summer, but he’s confident that it will happen: “I’ll do my best to mess things up between Sookie and Bill,” he promises. “We’ll see how well I do…”)

“Åke Och Hans Värld” was the very first Alexander Skarsgård movie, done when he had 6 years old. It tells the history of Åke, a six years old boy who lives with his parents and sister, and have as best friend Kalle Nubb (Alexander), a boy which mom is dead and father’s an alcoholic.

Alexander Skarsgard Source has some captures of this movie up in the gallery. The captures are low quality, but it’s baby ASkars, so I’m sure no one will complain. Enjoy the cuteness!

Whoever comes up with the best True Blood related wallpaper will win a brand new dvd set for True Blood Season 1. After November 23rd I will put up all entries. Visitors and creators must vote. Creators can vote for each entry they submit 1 time. I will not accept multiple votes from the creator.
