Amanda Essence would like to congratulate Amanda and her husband!!

Amanda Peet has welcomed a baby daughter.

The Syriana actress and her screenwriter husband David Benioff named the new arrival Molly June, People reports.

Amanda, who is promoting her forthcoming film Please Give, was due to appear on The Late Show With David Letterman – but had to pull out when she went into labour.

A spokesperson for Amanda said: “Mother and daughter are doing great.”

The couple already have a three-year-old daughter called Frances.

Amanda recently said: “There’s been a lot of fighting going on in my household over names. Frankie is very excited. She just wants to call the baby Turtle.” [SOURCE]

Amanda is in the December issue of “Self” magazine.  I have added the fantastic photoshoot she did to the gallery, along with some quotes from the magazine. If anyone can get scans and donate them, please do and I’ll be sure to credit you!

Date nights: “I’m obsessed with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. If she knew how much she was in my household late at night or in the wee hours of the morning, she might be disturbed. David [my husband] and I both have a crush on her.”

No diets for her: “To me, staying healthy means doing everything in moderation. Eat a lot of greens, but in moderation. Exercise, but in moderation. Drink wine, but in moderation. Sleep as much as you can. And have people around you who are very funny.”

Bad reviews: “When you’re gotten horrible reviews-and in the early days, I got some that were probably deserved-it’s almost liberating, because you’re like, ‘I’m still breathing. I’m still married to my husband. I’m going to go back onstage tonight, and I have no choice in the matter.”

It was just arrived the powerfull trailer of Brian Goodman’s “What Doesn’t Kill You”, which will be released in limited cinemas next December 12. Mark Ruffalo and Ethan Hawke starring as childhood friends who have turned to crime on South Boston’s depressed seats.

Ruffalo plays Brian, a petty thief who has grown up with Paulie (Hawke) and joined a local gang of criminals. But after getting into trouble with the law, Brian has trouble reconciling his work, and friendship with Paulie, with his duties to his wife (Amanda Peet) and son.

The film was written and directed by Brian Goodman, and is a largely autobiographical tale of his early life. Donnie Wahlberg also had a hand in the scripting, because it is against the law to make a Boston-set film without the involvement of a Wahlberg / Damon / Affleck family member somewhere in there.
