“And Baby Will Fall” Update@Anastasia-Griffith.Com

After long months without updates things are finally looking up. Anastasia’s Lifetime movie which has been renamed And Baby Will Fall has been given its premiere date: January 23. A preview will be available on the Lifetime website shortly. A more detailed press release has also been issue:

In And Baby Will Fall, High school sweethearts Ivy and David Ross (Anastasia Griffith and Brendan Fehr) have the perfect life. They have a loving marriage, a new house, and a baby on the way. Ivy had suffered two miscarriages so she is not taking anything for granted this time around. She is planning on delivering a healthy baby in a few weeks.
While clearing out their new house, they come across a former high school classmate, Melinda White (Clea DuVall) who appears at their yard sale. Melinda is also pregnant and is expected to deliver around the same time as Ivy.
Then next day they discover Melinda has gone missing and since the yard sale is the last place she was seen alive, the police take an interest in both David and Ivy. Evidence is found at their house leading the police to suspect foul play.

As things spiral out of control for the young couple, their seemingly wonderful life takes a turn for the worse. Has David been keeping secrets from Ivy? What about their other classmates? There seems to be many things about her old friends that Ivy is just now finding out. Secrets from the past bubble up to the present as everything unravels and some secrets are too much to bear.

Through it all, Ivy must remain calm and collected in order not to suffer the same fate as she had in the past. She desperately wants a healthy baby, but is the pressure going to be too much for her?

Thanks to the lovely Qua I have been able to add promotional images to the gallery.

“Royal Pains” Update

Last night’s was another entertaining episode of Royal Pains. I really like the development Anastasia’s character is given. It’s nice to see Emily grow in trust. Screen captures of episode 2×09 “Frenemies” have been added to the gallery. There are no videos yet but they will be added soon.

“Comfort’s Overrated” Caps Added

I really enjoyed last night’s episode of Royal Pains “Comfort’s Overrated”. Not as much of Anastasia as I would have liked to see but the scenes she did have were great. I think it’s fantastic that we’re getting to see a softer more sensible side to doctor Peck. Screen captures of the episode have already been added to the gallery. Video clips will be added some time later today.

Anastasia will also be in next week’s episode 2×08 “The Hankover”. Looks like it’s going to be a fun episode. You can have a look at the trailer for next week on the USA’s website.

“Mano a Mano” Media Added@Anastasia-Griffith.Com

I have added four clips and around 130 screen captures of last night’s episode of Royal Pains 1×05 “Mano a Mano”. Anastasia had some wonderful scenes with Reshma Shetty (Divya). It is such a joy to see her in a totally different role. At the end of the episode Emily announces her plans to open her own concierge practice in the Hamptons – effectively making her competition for Hank and his team. There won’t be a new episode of Royal Pains next week but the show will return July 15 with “In Vino Veritas”. From the episode description it is not clear whether Anastasia will be in the episode or not so I guess we will have to watch and find out.

Anastasia Griffith on Royal Pains

Anastasia is brilliant as Emily on Royal Pains. After last week’s short introduction to her character Thursday’s episode 1×04 “Medusa” devoted a lot more screen time to Doctor Emily Peck. I really like her character so far. It is nice to see Anastasia explore her comedic site a little more after the more drama focused Trauma. Divya and Emily will continue to clash in next week’s episode “Mano a Mano”. I have added screen captures and four clips of Anastasia in episode four. You can find them in the gallery and video archive respectively.

“Keeping Faith” Media Added.

Much to my surprise Anastasia was already featured in yesterday’s episode of “Royal Pains”, episode 2×03 Keeping Faith. Imdb doesn’t list her until the next episode. Her character, Emily Peck, was introduced during the last two minutes of the episode. It’s nice to see Anastasia back on television so soon after Trauma has ended. It will be interesting to learn more about her character over the following episodes. From the description of episode four it seems like Anastasia will have a lot more screen time in next week’s episode “Medusa”. For all of you who did not catch Anastasia’s appearance I have added some 50 screen captures of her two scenes as well as two HD video clips so you can watch her in action.

New Layout@Anastasia-Griffith.Com

With Trauma coming to an end and summer almost here I felt it was time for a new layout. The old one had been bothering me for a while, if I’m honest. I chose the same picture (as with the previous theme) because it is one of my favorites around. This time, however, I think the color scheme is much better executed. I feel that there is a certain lightness about the theme that suits the time of year perfectly. The wordpress coding is heavily based on a theme made available by Mandy.

Trauma Finale Caps

Trauma has ended. Episode eighteen aired last night on NBC. I feel a bit let down by NBC for going back on their original decision of 20 episodes. The episode did not really feel like a finale. Caps have been added to the gallery. Videos will be added shortly. Anastasia attended the premiere of “Open House” at the 9th annual Tribeca Film Festival three days ago. Event images have also been added to the gallery.

“Target” Media added@Anastasia-Griffith.Com

I have added some 200 screen captures of last night’s Trauma episode 1×15: “Target” to the gallery. You can also find three HD quality clips in the video archive. Another good episode – quite suspenseful. Here is a look at what’s coming up next week:

Nancy comes under fire for ignoring protocol when treating a high school cheerleader and her actions put Dr. Joe in the hot seat and their relationship on the line. Meanwhile, Rabbit and Marisa are quarantined after being exposed to a patient with meningitis. Elsewhere, a misunderstanding puts Boone’s partnership with Tyler to the test.

“Tunnelvision” Caps Added@Anastasia-Griffith.Com

Monday, March 8. “Trauma” has finally returned to NBC with new episodes. Yesterday’s episode Tunnel Vision kicked off the batch of ten new episodes – bringing the season to a total of twenty episodes. Last night’s episodes revealed Nancy’s fear of tight spaces and deepened the story line of Nancy’s and Rabbit’s relationship. Here’s what next week’s episode will have in store for us:

Glenn (Taylor Kinney) handles a procedure by the book and loses a patient, bringing the whole station under a “probie curse.” Meanwhile, Rabbit’s (Cliff Curtis) suspension leads him to mandatory therapy sessions to regain his wings as his relationship with Nancy (Anastasia Griffith) intensifies. Elsewhere, Marisa (Aimee Garcia) deals with a new partner, while Boone (Derek Luke) and Tyler (Kevin Rankin) have a patient jump out of the rig.

“The Woman Who Cried Rape” Caps@Anastasia-Griffith.Com

I have just added screen captures of a documentary Anastasia was part of in 2006 to the gallery. Watching the whole thing was rather strange. The British channel SKY produced three 40 minute documentary’s. The whole series is called “Super fakes”. The one Anastasia is in is called: “The Woman Who Cried Rape”.

The episode starts with hard facts: It is estimated that 130,000 women are raped in the UK every year. False rape cases are very rare. Last year, only nine women were charged for making false rape allegations. This film follows one of those rare cases.

You can read more about the documentary on http://anastasia-griffith.com
