Anna was on Ellen DeGeneres with the rest of the “50/50″ cast. Ellen tried to set Anna up with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and she talked about the difference between her characters in 50/50 and Up in the Air, and the fact that she was supposed to star in Bridesmaids! Here are some caps:

A new trailer for 50/50 is out, showing a new clip of Anna as Katie at the .22 mark. 50/50 will be premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, starting September 8th and will be out to the public September 30 ! I’ve also added a new promo screencap from the official site.

Anna was also spotted on-set in Atlanta with What to Expect co-star Chace Crawford:

Hard at work on their much-talked about romcom, co-stars Chace Crawford and Anna Kendrick were spotted on the Atlanta, Georgia set where they were filming scenes for “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” on Wednesday (August 10).

Checking in with the production crew in-between scenes, the casually clad twosome, who play characters Marco and Rosie in the film, took a few moments to catch a well-deserved break.

The Kirk Jones directed flick hosts a bevy of other Hollywood A-listers including Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker Jennifer Lopez and Matthew Morrison.

Scheduled for a May 11, 2012 theatrical debut, the movie centers around “the lives of several couples as they prepare to become parents.”

Thanks to my friend Jessica from Miss Winstead for letting me know that Bryce is in Cannes at the moment! Today she attended both the Sleeping Beauty and Restless premieres as well as the Restless dinner (don’t forget that she produced the film!):

Based on an original screenplay by Jason Lew, the Sony Pictures Classics release, which was developed and produced by Bryce Dallas Howard, stars Mia Wasikowska as a terminally ill teenager who falls in love with a boy, played by newcomer Henry Hopper, who likes hanging out at funerals. (Source)

I have fabulous news for today – our girl has signed up for her next movie and it will be Seth Rogen’s cancer comedy “I’m With Cancer”!

Summit Entertainment continues to branch out into other genre’s of film by acquiring the Seth Rogen produced comedy, formally titled, I’m With Cancer. The film stars James McAvoy as the lead with Rogen on board in a supporting role. They’ll be joined by two actresses from the Twilight camp (conveniently) Anna Kendrick and Bryce Dallas Howard.

According to THR, Summit has picked up the North American rights for the film that’s based on the true story of Will Reiser, who will be played by McAvoy. Reiser was diagnosed with cancer in his mid-20s and successfully battled the disease over several years. Rogen will play his close friend, while Kendrick will star as a young psychologist assigned to handle the young man’s case despite her lack of real life experience.

The untitled film will be directed by Jonathan Levine. (Source)

I uploaded DVD captures of the feature film and all extras (such as the great behind-the-scenes documentary Reflections) of Lady In The Water (2006) in which Bryce was absolutely fascinating as Story! I know this is probably a “hate it or love it” movie, but personally I really enjoyed it – and isn’t the soundtrack just wonderful? Anyway, be sure to take a look at the DVD captures here!
