“Drive” will hit theaters on September 16th, but you can pick up the soundtrack digitally on September 6th or if you absolutely need that awesome cover art in your possession, it will get a physical release on September 13th. Check out the full tracklist HERE.

Steve McQueen‘s sex addiction drama Shame, has an official UK release date of January 13, 2012, according to an Empire Online exclusive report.

The highly anticipated film, starring Michael Fassbender, Carey Mulligan, James Badge Dale and Nicole Beharie, promises “a compelling and timely examination of the nature of need, how we live our lives and the experiences that shape us.”

First I added some stills of Carey in “Drive” including one that we have never seen before in Cannes Press Kit. In addition to this it’s confirmed that “Drive” cast will be at Comic-Con 2011 and most likely Carey will be there!

As far as we know there will be a presentation on 21st July, which will include, exclusive footage and a Q&A in Hall H at 2-3pm.

The Cannes International Film Festival 2011 line-up has been announced!

The movie calendar’s most glamorous festival is now less than a month away: it opens on May 11th, to be precise.

Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life, Jodie Foster’s The Beaver, Nicolas Winding-Refn’s Drive and, er, Rob Marshall’s Pirates of the Caribbean 4 are among the more mainstream movies in attendance.

Gathering together to continue work on their new movie, the stars of “Drive” were spotted in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (October 28).

Leading things off, “Mad Men” beauty Christina Hendricks donned a pair of high heels and dark skinny jeans while carrying a large, black duffel bag into a Money and Loan store as cameras rolled.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling looked focused as he passed the time in between shooting scenes by trying to solve a Rubik’s cube.

Last, but not least, Carey Mulligan looked pretty in pink while talking to crew members – with the freshly-blonde beauty having recently made headlines for breaking up with Shia LaBeouf and being linked to Tom Sturridge in a budding romance.

Due out in 2011, the film “Drive” is about “a Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights as a wheelman discovering that a contract has been put on him after a heist gone wrong.”

Hard at work on a new project, Christina Hendricks joined Carey Mulligan and Ryan Gosling on the set of “Drive” in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (October 4).

Wearing a brown leather jacket and a purple t-shirt with a Tiger on it, the “Mad Men” beauty puffed away on a cigarette while standing underneath an umbrella to keep herself dry in the rainy west coast weather.

Meanwhile, Miss Mulligan teamed up with Mr Gosling to film a scene next to a broken down car during the course of the day;s shoot.

As for the film, the Nicolas Winding Refn directed action flick is about “a Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights as a wheelman while discovering that a contract has been put on him after a heist gone wrong.”

Carey Reveals Her Role in Drive

A couple weeks ago it was announced that Carey Mulligan was in negotiations to star in the action film Drive alongside Ryan Gosling and Bryan Cranston. At the time, the film was said to center on “a nameless Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a freelance getaway driver but ends up on the run with a contract on his head and an ex-con’s girlfriend.” I recently spoke to Mulligan about her part in the film and she elaborated more on her character and revealed that she’s not just playing “a girlfriend.”

Mulligan is a dynamo when it comes to drama. Her performance in An Education proved that, but she’s taking a step outside of her comfort zone with Drive. Carey worked up over her “biggest part” yet

Carey Mulligan is the first to admit that her latest film, the adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go, was a role very close to her heart, having fallen in love with the novel before a film was even planned.

Nominated for an Oscar last year for her performance in An Education, 25-year-old Mulligan is quickly developing an impressive resume. She sat down with Metro to discuss the themes of the novel, playing a part she never thought she’d get and ignoring the noise of awards season.

Were you a fan of the book before auditioning?

Yes. My mum was a big Ishiguro fan, and I read it immediately after her. I loved it, and didn’t really think it was a part I could get because of all the usual reasons. So when it came around, to get to audition for it was huge for me. It was sort of the biggest part I’d auditioned for — and kind of the best phone call I’d ever had when I got the job.
