2011 was a big and busy year for Aussie actress Isabel Lucas – while remaining typically low key, she has attended several events, filmed a movie or two as well as seeing the release of a couple of projects, and continued to dedicate time to her chosen causes. And then, of course, there was the Immortals hype and promotion running through the year, that culminated in a massive promotional blast and the release of the film itself in the latter part of this year. With all the success Isabel Lucas has been having recently, and the fact that she’s gaining new fans here, there and everywhere, I thought it would be nice to do something to celebrate her birthday over at Isabel Lucas Online, so I have put together a Birthday Project! Aussie actress Isabel Lucas has been cast in director Terrence Malick’s new film project, alongside Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett. This is a really big land for Isabel, so a massive congrats to her! I’m really excited to hear more about this project … and to see what else Izzy has lined up.
 Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett are both set to star in two upcoming Terrence Malick films, both of which will be launched to buyers through Glen Basner’s FilmNation at the American Film Market this week.
”Lawless,” will topline Ryan Gosling, Bale, Blanchett, Rooney Mara (”The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”) and Haley Bennett (”Marley and Me”).
Malick’s second pic, ”Knight of Cups,” will star Bale, Blanchett and Isabel Lucas (”Immortals,” ”Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”).
Both pics are currently in pre-production and will shoot back-to-back in 2012. Details of the two plots are being kept under wraps but both titles will be separate narratives.

The Opening Night Honorary Awards Ceremony will take place Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Roosevelt Hotel (7000 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood) benefiting The Finaza Foundation.
