Anton Yelchin is going to be co-starring in the new dark comedy film “The Beaver” along side Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson. Anton will be playing Jodie’s and Mel’s son who tries to persuade his mother to divorce his father after Mel’s depressed character finds solace in wearing a beaver hand-puppet.

The film is being directed by Jodie Foster. “The Beaver” is planned for a fourth quarter 2010 or early 2011 release.
