As you can see we have a brand new layout (made by me) here at Karen-Gillan.us and I really hope you like it as much as I do. It features the photoshoot Karen did for Radio Times Magazine in July, I totally love those pictures and I couldn’t resist.

She shot to fame starring as Amy Pond in Doctor Who, but now Karen Gillan has revealed she is unsure about her future on the sci-fi show.

The 22-year-old actress made the revelation at a signing in Glasgow’s Hamley toy store, when she wrote her name on boxes containing a five-inch version of her character along with posters for more than 200 fans.
Gillan, who looked stunning in a leopard print dress and black opaque tights, said she was ‘excited’ about filming the second series with current Time Lord Matt Smith.

However, when asked if she would star in a third series of the show, Gillan replied: ‘Who knows? I’m just taking it series by series and I’m just having fun. So, I don’t know. I have no idea.’

The star also remained tight-lipped about the Christmas special and second series, which she is about to start filming. She said:

We are about to start in a week and a bit on the series, which is exciting. We’ve finished the Christmas special so that’s all in the can and it’s a good one.

So, what did people think of the Doctor Who Proms? We recently asked for your opinions and feedback and were delighted to hear from so many of you…

So today, along with some new, exclusive photos from the event (see above) we’re publishing the feedback we received from people who followed the Doctor Who Proms broadcasts online and on the radio.

Monika told us she couldn’t make it to the Royal Albert Hall and listened to the concerts on BBC i-player. Did she enjoy them? ‘Even though I was sitting alone in front of a computer screen it felt so magical! It only took about 32 seconds and I was taken away by this wonderful music.’

Rich also caught a concert on BBC Radio 3, calling it ‘glorious… It was as good as the 2008 concert, full of great music and lump in the throat moments. A wonderful celebration of the show and Murray Gold’s genius… I very much hope there will be a 2011 concert.’
