How exciting is this? The super pretty Ashley Greene has signed on to be Mark Cosmetic’s new brand ambassador! The Twilight star is replacing reality sweetheart Lauren Conrad as the face of the brand.

Ashley tells WWD that she first noticed Mark after liking products she received in a gift bag. ??“Initially, I was drawn to Mark because of the products,” Ashley told WWD. “But what really sealed the deal was its empowering message to young women, which is something I relate to.” Ashley’s no stranger to charitable work which Mark prides itself on. She’s involved in the DonateMyDress.org campaign and lauds Mark’s efforts to support charities affecting young women, especially its campaign to end dating violence.

After becoming a star on “The Hills,” and writing a bestselling fiction novel loosely based on her road-to-reality fame, Lauren Conrad will next write a book on style.

According to People, the young starlet will release “Lauren Conrad Style,” in the fall of 2010, published by HarperCollins.

“I am really excited to write a style guide,” Lauren said in a statement. “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.”

The book will reportedly teach readers how to get that signature Lauren look and also bring out their own sense of style and fashion.

But first, the reality maven will follow-up the bestselling “L.A. Candy,” with “Sweet Little Lies,” hitting the shelves on February 2, 2010.
