Kellan Lutz has signed on to play the husband of Mandy Moore in a new movie called Love, Wedding, Marriage, sources confirm exclusively to JustJared.com.

The romantic comedy has Mandy playing a marriage counselor whose parents separate after many, many years together. She feverishly attempts to get them back together, jeopardizing her own marriage.

My Best Friend’s Wedding actor Dermot Mulroney will be making his directorial debut. Production for Love, Wedding and Marriage kicks off in New Orleans in early February.

Mandy Moore hosts the season opening of Tao Beach at The Venetian Hotel and Casino on Saturday (April 18) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 25-year-old was accompanied by Confessions of a Shopaholic actress Krysten Ritter.

When asked if music is something that she and her husband Ryan Adams bond over, Mandy told EW,

“Well, yeah! That’s definitely a common interest between the two of us. There’s always music playing in the house, or being written. It’s nice to be able to share that with one another, and share new things that we discover and find. Usually it’s him introducing me to something. There’s a lot more metal being played in the house than ever before. It’s like, ‘No, no, that’s hair metal, that’s not black metal. And that’s more melodic Scandinavian metal.’ It’s hard to discern, but I’m starting to get there.”

Mandy Moore toughens up her good-girl image in this sexy new shoot for the May 2009 issue of Details Magazine, hitting stands April 21.

The 25-year-old newly married singer opens up about why her music couldn’t compare to Britney Spears, learning guitar from husband Ryan Adams, and defeating bacteria. Check it:

On not being on the same level as other pop stars:

“I found myself in the company of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who had really quality music, much more so than mine was.”

On being obsessed with cleanliness:

“I’m a germaphobe when I meet a lot of people or shake a lot of hands. I always have hand sanitizer and alcohol swabs so I can sort of go back and forth between the two.”

On her new album Amanda Leigh, a collection of acoustic rock:

“The music is all a reflection of me now, not somebody else’s choices.”

Looking comfy and cozy in sweats, newlywed couple Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams went on a stroll through Runyon Canyon in the Hollywood Hills this morning (April 3).

Holding hands as they chatted the day away, the happy twosome will be celebrating their one-month anniversary next Friday.

And though Miss Moore and her rocker hubby have not yet been on a honeymoon, Mandy is just fine with it.

“We’ll have to talk about it. I’m happy being home. Home is a honeymoon enough for me!”

Settling into married life quite nicely, Mandy Moore was spotted enjoying a day of visiting friends in Los Angeles on Tuesday (March 31).

The “A Walk to Remember” actress seemed in high spirits, walking past paparazzi with a smile following her midday outing.

And though Miss Moore had a small, secret ceremony with Ryan Adams a few weeks back, don’t plan on any big ceremony for friends and family.

“I think I’m done with that,”

Mandy said of a possible second celebration, then offering advice to brides-to-be, saying

“I would recommend whatever you feel comfortable doing and not going against how you really feel. It’s just important to maintain what feels authentic and organic and genuine for you.”

Still basking in the glory of their wedded bliss, Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams were spotted sniffing out some deals at the Melrose Flea Market yesterday (March 29).

The “All Good Things” songstress and her rocker hubby looked to be enjoying each other’s company, both sporting sunglasses as they meandered around the outdoor venue.

And though they’ve been married for a few weeks now, it seems Mandy and Ryan haven’t been able to organize a honeymoon just yet.

Moore told press,

“We’ll have to talk about it. I’m happy being home. Home is a honeymoon enough for me!”
