Maria Bello Online has a brand new layout up today, to celebrate tonight’s premiere of Maria’s new TV show Prime Suspect! We thought it would be nice to have something new up to celebrate Maria’s venture into TV, and our friend Luciana came up with this very elegant layout for us, featuring one of our favourite photos of Maria (taken in 2008 for Page Six magazine). I really like how it turned out, and hope you all enjoy it too. You will also notice that we’ve decided to change the name of the site slightly … we’re now calling ourselves Maria Bello Online.
As I mentioned, Prime Suspect does of course premiere on NBC in the US tonight! Tune in at 10pm ET (9pm c) to see Maria in action as Jane Timoney – we’re sure she’ll be amazing, and wish her and the cast and crew a successful premiere. All being well we will bring you screencaps from the episode tomorrow, and we’ll also work on adding stills, promotional photos etc. asap.
We hope you enjoy the new layout, and please leave a comment if you have something to say!

It’s been one year since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, and Artists For Peace And Justice members Maria Bello and Olivia Wilde have been working tirelessly with the foundation to provide aid to Haiti.
It’s been an extraordinary year in Haiti. On this, the one year anniversary of the earthquake, we find time to reflect on what has been and what’s to come. Besides the pain and suffering there have been great moments of joy and hope. Yesterday, much of the media is focusing on what has not been done and what is claimed to be the failure of the international community. We have been working in Haiti for years before the earthquake and our view is different. Of course there have been frustrations but we are proud of what we have accomplished.
Together we have distributed millions of dollars in food and medicine, built health clinics, homes, one of the largest Cholera Camps in Haiti and in October opened our new Secondary School, the Academy for Peace and Justice. We are proud of our work and have spent nearly every dollar donated directly helping the people. Along the way and through all of the basic relief activities we met Rapheal Louigene, the hardest working Haitian we have ever met, and that’s saying something.

It’s the “Snakes on a Plane” sequel — “Snakes on an ‘Extra’ Junket”!
As “Extra’s” Terri Seymour chatted up “Grown Ups” stars Salma Hayek, Maria Bello and Maya Rudolph, they got an expected guest — a harmless but rather large snake — which sent the girls into a tizzy, as they scrambled to get away from the reptile, especially the frantic, screaming Salma.
“It was like a python. It was thick. Its head was like this like a cobra!” Bello exclaimed afterward.
And what about Salma? “She split. She’s on the next plane,” Rudolph said. “She’s in the hospital,” Bello laughed.

Grown Ups is in cinemas on June 25th 2010 (US).
