Mia Wasikowska is no stranger to the fashion industry — she appeared in various fashion magazines over the past year and made an appearance at this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards — but her new ad spot for Miu Miu marks her first major campaign.

Wasikowska replaces the label’s fall face, 15-year-old actress Hailee Steinfeld, and resort face, 34-year-old model Guinevere van Seenus.

Miu Miu has a long-standing tradition of tapping hotly tipped actresses to front the brand, previously hiring Vanessa Paradis, Selma Blair, Lindsay Lohan and now Mia.
