Back in 2008 Naomie starred in the Channel4 movie ‘Poppy Shakespeare’ as the title character- Poppy Shakespeare. She played a single mother who is falsely admitted to the Dorothy Fish mental health clinic as a day patient. There Poppy befriends N, who was appointed as her guide and has vowed to help her get out of there.
