 Our favourite actress Nicole Kidman celebrates her 44th birthday today, and we at Nicole’s Magic want to wish her a very, very Happy Birthday! She’s had a pretty incredible 12 months, so we can only imagine this is going to be a very special, and happy, birthday for her.

MTV News announced the premiere of Moulin Rouge At 10: A Spectacular Spectacular MTV News Event, a 10-year anniversary special that will reunite Moulin Rouge Director Baz Luhrmann, stars Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and John Leguizamo, as well as Catherine Martin, who won the Oscar for costume design and art, on Monday, May 2nd at 3pm ET on MTV.com.
Hosted by MTV News’ Josh Horowitz, the special will include special appearances, live interviews, and take a look back at how the film came to be and how its legacy continues to grow.
Fans can begin submitting questions today for the Moulin Rouge director and talent via the @MTVNews Twitter handle utilizing the hashtag #AskMoulin.
Moulin Rouge premiered in 2001 and reinvented the modern movie musical. Its influence on pop culture can still be seen today with the success of musical television shows like Glee and American Idol, not to mention its impact on fashion, graphic design and style.

It’s Oscar Night on Sunday, and – as if I need to remind you – our favourite actress Nicole Kidman is nominated! To (start to) celebrate that at Nicole’s Magic, we’re taking a look back at Nicole’s history with the Academy Awards, remembering all the occasions she attended the awards, and that one special night in March 2003! While the Academy seem to prefer to invite, rather than nominate, her, there’s no question she is still Oscar royalty, and a highlight when seen on the red carpet and the stage!

Nicole Kidman‘s new comedy movie Just Go With It opens in US and UK cinemas today! It co-stars Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker, and Nicole makes an “unbilled cameo” appearance in the film as Devlin Adams, Jennifer Aniston’s character’s ultra-competitive nemesis/frenemy from their sorority.
In Just Go With It, a plastic surgeon, romancing a much younger schoolteacher, enlists his loyal assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant’s kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives.
Nicole’s performance has been described as the “comedy show-stealer” and “eye-catching”, and she was certainly the highlight of the film for me! Nicole Kidman fans were today shocked and excited by the surprise news that she and her husband Keith Urban have welcomed a new baby into their family!
 Keith, Nicole, and their two-year old daughter Sunday Rose, today announced a new addition to their family, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban. Born through a gestational carrier at Nashville’s Centennial Womens Hospital on December 28, 2010, Faith Margaret is Keith and Nicole’s biological daughter.
The proud parents issued the following statement:
“Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”
Nicole’s Magic sends a huge congratulations to the family, and wishes them all the happiness in the world!!
Nicole Kidman’s highly anticipated new film Rabbit Hole receives a very limited release in the US today! The film and Nicole have received extraordinary reviews, and just this week Nicole has been nominated for both a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award.
RABBIT HOLE is a vivid, hopeful, honest and unexpectedly witty portrait of a family searching for what remains possible in the most impossible of all situations.
Becca and Howie Corbett (NICOLE KIDMAN and AARON ECKHART) are returning to their everyday existence in the wake of a shocking, sudden loss. Just eight months ago, they were a happy suburban family with everything they wanted. Now, they are caught in a maze of memory, longing, guilt, recrimination, sarcasm and tightly controlled rage from which they cannot escape. The first look at the upcoming action-thriller movie, Trespass, starring Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage can now be seen at Nicole’s Magic. Entertainment Weekly released the first still from the movie, which is about a wealthy couple who are the target of a break-in. The movie is currently filming, and is expected to be released next year.
