Washington (CNN) — The stars were out Sunday night as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts bestowed its prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on actor and comedian Will Ferrell.
The award, which was established in 1998, honors comedians who have shaped American society with their work, as Mark Twain once did.
Ferrell himself commented on the importance of the prize, telling CNN it’s “the only legitimate award that recognizes comedy,” and he was honored to receive it.
Fellow comedians Jack Black, Tim Meadows, Ed Asner, Paul Rudd, Andy Samberg, Conan O’Brien and Molly Shannon showered Ferrell with praise at the ceremony.
“He’s a blast. I mean, he’s always coming up with new stuff,” said actor Rudd, who co-stared with Ferrell in “The Legend of Ron Burgundy.”
He’s, “just fun to watch, and he’s very good at keeping it together.”
   
While there is persistent rumor of MTV planning to replace the cast of “Jersey Shore”, Conan O’Brien claims to have found secret audition tapes featuring some “impressive candidates”: Anne Hathaway, Paul Rudd and Dennis Haysbert. In the clip played on “CONAN”, the three of them start the auditions by mentioning their names.
Paul reveals his desire to move to Jersey and find a nice, hot guy, stating, “I want to marry a guido.”

I’m gonna update the gallery theme too sometime in near future but for now, I’ll mostly focus on filling the gallery with more Paul pics.

Paul is featured in the September 2011 issue of Nylon Guys. In the issue Paul talks about the bittersweet moment of hosting SNL shortly after his father’s passing:
Two weeks after his father passed away, Rudd hosted Saturday Night Live. At the end, when he was on stage with the cast and guests (including Beyonce and Justin Timberlake) he stepped forward, grabbed the lapel of his jacket and looked upward. “I was wearing his jacket from when he was in the Navy…it was all kind of a blur.”

The royal couple were the guests of honor at the BAFTA Brits to Watch gala yesterday night in Los Angeles. Paul was there among some other big names such as Tom Hanks, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Rudd, Jennifer Garner, Elizabeth Banks, Kristin Chenoweth, Nicole Kidman, Jason Bateman, Chris Evans, Derek Hough, Dana Delany, Jack Black and Ginnifer Goodwin.
The couple were the only ones to be on the red carpet upon their arrival so the only pics of Paul I was able to find till now were some at champagne reception. Hope to find some more:
