The cast of “Charlie’s Angels” is featured on the cover of the newest issue of TV Guide hitting newsstands on the day of the show’s premiere, Thursday September 22. Not long to go now. But for now you can take a look at the cover photo, which the awesome Minka Kelly tweeted here. Bits and pieces from the interview are already on their website here. It’s a really interesting read! For example, did you know that Rachael Taylor and Minka briefly met while doing a photoshoot in Venice about four years ago?

TV Guide Magazine: And now that you’ve been shooting for a bit, have you found your Angels groove?

Ilonzeh: We came together and there was definitely instant chemistry.
Taylor: Many years ago, Minka and I did a photo shoot in Venice for a very trendy [magazine] and we met very briefly.
Kelly: Oh, that’s right!
Taylor: It was like, four years ago. [Laughs] It was awful.
Rodriguez: I’ll tell you when I knew there was chemistry. At the table read [for the pilot]….
Kelly: Oh! Can we talk about the table read? This gentleman brought all the ladies a rose.
Rodriguez: It was Valentine’s Day. The chemistry was immediate. And you know, that doesn’t happen all the time. At the table read sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

People magazine has learned that the new Charlie’s Angels will remake one of the original show’s most iconic scenes -the angels jailed in a women’s prison- in an episode titled “Angels in Chains”. But until we get to see that episode on our TV screens you can have a look at the still on the left or check out this cute behind the scenes picture Minka Kelly posted on her twitter account recently.

But despite all the attention Rachael Taylor and the show have been getting (they will even be presenting an award at the Emmys tonight), it seems like Rachael still has her feet firmly planted on the ground. She recently told an interviewer:

“Everyone tells me to save my money because I will be out of work at a certain point, that’s just what happens to actors.”

“I think you can retain a sense of normality in whatever you do. I’ve watched my profile rise and fall over six or seven years and sometimes it peaks and sometimes it really dives. In the end you go to Coles and someone in the supermarket says to you: ‘Hey, are you so and so’ and you go: ‘Yeah’ and they go: ‘Cool, can you pass me that cheese’. They just want to know who you are, and put a face to a name.”

Apart from her own realism, another thing that’s keeping her down to earth is Rachael’s relationship with her boyfriend, actor Josh Lawson, who says:

“She’s very original. She makes me write poetry. Well, she doesn’t make me, but she inspires me. She makes me feel things I’ve never felt before … all that corny stuff. I really am in love … we’re really happy and comfortable.”

While we’re all waiting for September 22 to come around so that we can finally watch the season premiere of “Charlie’s Angels” on ABC, Rachael Taylor and the other angels Minka Kelly and Annie Ilonzeh are still hard at work in Miami. The Miami New Times blog is reporting that Rachael Taylor and fellow Charlie’s Angel will be hosting the opening reception of renowned celebrity photographer Robert Zuckerman’s “Portraits” exhibit tomorrow.

The photographer seems at ease in the glitz and glam of Hollywood but is still able to recognize true emotional depth in his subjects even amidst the superficiality.

The event will be held at the Betsy Hotel in Miami on August 14 from 7pm to 10pm and is free and open to the public. So there’s your chance to meet Rachael (if you’re in the Miami area) and check out some classy photography while you’re there.

OK! Magazine was invited onto the set of Rachael Taylor‘s photo shoot for the new Bonds campaign recently and they have brought back some great behind the scenes photos for us. The new Microfiber & Mesh collection Rachael is advertising is already in stores all over Australia and her TV commercial will start airing there this weekend. Hopefully the commercial will also be available online for all those of us who don’t live in Australia.

Lots of new pictures have been added to the gallery at Rachael Taylor Fan- all of them photoshoot pictures: First off is a shoot that Rachael did while attending the InStyle And Audi Women Of Style Awards last year. The other new photoshoot is Rachael’s Vogue Australia editorial. New portraits that were taken at Comic-Con last weekend have also surfaced. But this time she is pictured with the cast of her upcoming film “The Darkest Hour”.

The Vogue website now has a couple of snippets of Rachael’s interview online. This is what she said when asked whether or not she’s ambitious:

“I don’t really look forward to movie stardom or doing a $200-million movie or winning an Academy Award. I look forward to a career that I enjoy [where] you go home to someone you love and you drink really good wine. That’s ambitious, too: it’s hard to have those things, to have the career you really like and the life you really like. It’s hard striking that balance… That’s what I’m ambitious for. I don’t know if that means I’m ambitious or not, but these are things that I covet.”

Rachael Taylor and her fellow angels Minka Kelly and Annie Ilonzeh are back in Miami and back at work after promoting “Charlie’s Angels” at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend. They were photographed filming fight scenes on board of a yacht, yesterday. The photos have been added to the gallery.

Rachael Taylor and her fellow angels Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Ramon Rodriguez (yes he counts, too) finally got their turn at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, yesterday. During the panel discussion Rachael revealed that she did not study up on her role as an angel by watching any of the original episodes and overall managed to charm reporters and the assembled fans with her refreshing bluntness, according to EW.Com .

A bunch of pictures from the panel have already been added to the gallery but I am sure there will be more as the day continues…hopefully also some nice cast portraits. But for now:

Thanks to some lovely people on YouTube we can already take a sneak peek at Rachael Taylor‘s upcoming movie “Loft” which was shot in New Orleans recently. Because the film is actually a remake of the Belgian film by the same name most of the video isn’t in English but you can catch quite a few glimpses of Rachael and James Marsden filming a scene at an outside wedding reception.

Also, Summit Entertainment have released the first photo of the upcoming “The Darkest Hour”. Unfortunately it only features Emile Hirsh, so we still don’t know anything more about Rachael’s role in the film.

After weeks of extensive physical training and camera tests Rachael Taylor and her fellow angels Annie Ilonzeh and Minka Kelly gathered in Miami yesterday for the first day of filming. It looks like they shot some scenes at a derby with Minka Kelly’s character riding a horse and the other two working the crowd.

Rachael Taylor recently spoke to reporters about filming “Charlie’s Angels” when she was back in Australia to shoot the new Spring/Summer campaign for Bonds. The first photos from that shoot have now surfaced and have been added to our gallery. A television commercial will start airing in Australia next month. I’ll keep my eyes open to see if I can find anything else from that campaign. This is what she told reporters about her role in the new “Charlie’s Angels” remake:

“When we shot this new campaign for Bonds, I’d literally flown in from the set of Charlie’s Angels, which I’d started work on while finishing up on Grey’s Anatomy. And life continues to be a whirlwind since then too. I’ve just finished shooting the US film Loft with James Marsden and Karl Urban in New Orleans and Brussels, and am already back in Miami and deep into the world of being an Angel.”

“The one thing I struggle with is firing a gun,” she tells us. “I don’t like it; something about it goes against my grain.”
