She did it again!
Sandra Bullock attended last night the 15th Critics Choice Movie Awards, to receive her awards for best actress. Now, she’s chosen the best by the audience (on People’s Choice Awards), AND for the critics. Go Sandy!

Pop the champagne and raise a glass! It may have just been the first big awards show of the year, but Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep shared a win – and a kiss – at the 15th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in Hollywood, making for an entertaining night.

“This is bulls—,” Bullock said jokingly Friday before lip locking with Streep, whom she shared best actress honors with (she for the Blind Side and Streep for Julie and Julia). The tie was an obvious surprise, but as the audience cheered, Bullock exclaimed: “This is an honor.”

Later in Bullock’s acceptance speech, she referred to similar parallels between her and her co-winner, saying that she loves “food and sex like Meryl. … That’s how similar we are. You guys just didn’t notice it until now.” Bullock ended her speech by admitting, “Meryl is a good kisser.”

Congratulations to always awesome Sandra Bullock for her two nominations for 2010 Golden Globes! Definitely, 2009 is “The Year of the Bullock!”

Sandra got nominated as Best Actress in a drama for “The Blind Side” and Best Actress in comedy for “The Proposal”. Winners to be announced on Sunday, January 17th.

Actress Sandra Bullock walked the red carpet in New Orleans yesterday, for an evening premiere of her latest film, “The Blind Side.”

Bullock, who recently bought a home in New Orleans, hosted the event with film studio Warner Bros. to raise money for Warren Easton High School, which was flooded by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Bullock already has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the school for scholarships, new band uniforms, auditorium renovations and a new health clinic.

The movie, which opens in theaters nationwide today, is based on a true story of a poor teenager taken in by a family and recruited by a major college to play football. It also stars country singer Tim McGraw.

LOS ANGELES – Nominees for the People’s Choice Awards are out, and the people choose vampires.

“Twilight” and “True Blood” were among the top nominees announced Tuesday. Fans cast more than 18 million votes online to select the nominee slate and will also choose the winners in 35 categories.

“Twilight” is up for favorite movie, franchise and on-screen team for its trio of stars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Stewart and Pattinson were also nominated individually for favorite movie actress and actor, and Lautner is up for breakout movie actor.

“True Blood” was nominated for favorite TV obsession and sci-fi/fantasy TV show, plus star Anna Paquin earned a nod for TV drama actress.

Fans can vote for their favorites online at peopleschoice.com.

Queen Latifah is set to host the People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS on Jan. 6.
