Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds wed on Saturday, her rep confirmed.

The small wedding took place at a remote wilderness resort outside Vancouver. Guests included Scarlett’s mother, Melanie Sloan, and her brother, Adrian Johansson.

Johansson, 23, and Reynolds, 31, who had been dating since Spring 2007, announced their engagement on May 5, the day the actress flashed a three-carat diamond ring estimated to be worth about $30,000 at the Met Costume Ball Gala.

Scarlett Johansson wants you to get in the spirit of recycling your cell phones.

Playing off posters for Johansson’s upcoming comic-book thriller The Spirit, the Environmental Media Association and Lionsgate studio have created PSAs encouraging folks to recycle their used cell phones. The ads feature one of the movie’s taglines, “Answer the call!”

EMA’s goal is to lower the amount of carbon dioxide emissions created by the production of new phones.

This isn’t the only good deed Johansson has been up to recently. She just completed a four-day visit to Rwanda, where she visited AIDS clinics with (RED), Bono and Bobby Shriver’s initiative to raise money for women and children affected by AIDS in Africa.

A trailer for New York, I Love You, the star-studded compilation of 12 short films has been released. It has also been announced recently that the film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this year, which runs from September 4th-13th. The current US release date is February 2009. August 3rd, Scarlett at “Teen Choice Awards” 2008. Scarlett didn’t win an award this year (she was nominated in “Best Actress: Drama” nomination), but anyway she looked gorgeous.

August 4th, Scarlett in red dress at “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” LA premiere looked red hot.

I’ve added new promotional stills and bigger poster from “The Spirit” (2009) film. Scarlett is incredible hot on these photos and especially on the one which was used for a poster for her character Silken Floss. As it says on a poster the film comes out this Christmas. All we need is wait for it now.
