Emily Kinney “Kids” Music Video Premiere!
Emily Kinney has spent the last two years living in prison and fighting off Walkers as Beth Greene on ‘The Walking Dead,’ so we’re happy to see her having some fun in her brand new music video for ‘Kids.’
Emily Kinney, 28, has shown off her soulful singing chops crooning Tom Waits hits on The Walking Dead, and now the actress has finally released her own EP, Expired Love, which is currently available on iTunes. HollywoodLife has your EXCLUSIVE first look at the video for her single “Kids,” and of course, we’re already obsessed.
‘Walking Dead’ Star Emily Kinney Debuts Video For ‘Kids’
On The Walking Dead, “Beth’s” beautiful singing voice has lifted many a spirit during even the most melancholy scenes, so we’re happy to have a fresh hit to play again and again while we’re waiting for zombies to attack our own prison (or workplace, same thing).
HollywoodLife.com has your EXCLUSIVE first look at “Kids,” a pretty, folky song that finds Emily wondering why she and her lover can’t just forget all of their adult struggles and live like they did when they were kids.
“Let’s love like we are kids/All shiny and new,” she laments, as a group of children play on a carousel. It’s a beautiful notion, but let’s hope those kids are put to bed by the time Emily and her man “play hide and seek” in her bed, as she croons mischievously.
Emily Kinney On Shooting ‘Kids’
After spending so much time protecting the (likely) doomed kids in the prison — and cleaning up the ghastly wounds from those Walkers — it’s nice to see Emily having so much fun. Emily told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that filming the video had her longing for her own childhood.
“I had so much fun running around Atlanta,” she said. “Playing in parks and riding carousels with the three stars of my new video ‘Kids.’ Sometimes I really wish I was still a little kid.”
